Dead Yet?

So I’m just curious, how long are you going to tread the line between the resurrection and life you’re desperate for, and the death that you can’t possibly tolerate. You’re longing for resurrection in the very places where you refuse to allow yourself to die.
Just for the record, I want you to know today that what I said IS true. I AM the resurrection and the life…..but there is no resurrection without death so why are you so committed to avoiding death by any means possible and keeping the things around you alive at any cost.
I’m afraid you’ve missed something in the fine print because you keep confusing our job descriptions. I’m not asking you to die….I’m telling you, if you’re in me you’re already dead.
Your job is dying and staying dead, MY JOB is resurrection. If you’d just get the memo on that it would alleviate a lot of suffering for the both of us because If you could just stay dead for ten minutes I might actually have enough time to put my hands on the things that you can’t stay dead long enough to let go of.
Death isn’t your biggest enemy, it’s your inability to reckon yourself already dead.
Also,
If you’re having a hard time knowing how to cooperate with me on this you could try holding your breath and counting to 900, that would be a good start, and it’ll give me a few extra minutes.
Just kidding on that last part….
